We are all made of stories
Do you want to be heard?
Got a story you’d like to tell, or a poem or a song in your head waiting to come out?
Ever thought about sharing it?
Our new group at Keighley Library is for you.
The group is for Keighley folks interested in poetry, storytelling, music, drama, comedy and anything else you can share or perform. We’ll be meeting regularly to share and support each other, and come up ideas for events and activities that could take place in the library.
All ideas welcome and over the coming months we'll test them out together!
These groups will be very informal and social.. Refreshments will be served.
We are all made of stories and we need to share them with each other!
Come to our next meet up on Thursday 19th May 5-7pm.
What can I expect?
We invite you to bring a story, poem, song, or just ideas to share if you like (but no pressure!)
Then we’ll be getting to know each other and sharing ideas for what events and activities we could try out at the Library.
We’ll decide how often and when we want to meet and make some future plans
The session will be super informal, friendly and we’ll supply refreshments
Who is it for?
The groups are open to adults and young people over the age of 14.
No experience necessary but we welcome input from the experienced to the beginner with tons of enthusiasm.
If you can’t make this session, don’t worry, you can join us at a future meet up!
